About Us
From humble beginnings back in 2007, V Formation has been supporting businesses across a range of sectors with their marketing and PR to help them find their competitive edge to develop and grow.
We like to think that we’re not your typical marketing agency (our clients have also said so!) that provides off-the-shelf services and then leaves you to get on with things – we are truly passionate about what we do and bring heavyweight strategic insight and advice that adds real value to our clients.
From strategy development and planning through to hands-on implementation and ongoing support, our experienced team of experts can act as your outsourced marketing department or work alongside your in-house team – either way we’ll spend time getting under the skin of your business to understand your objectives and challenges, your culture and people. It is this approach that enables us to develop meaningful marketing, PR and business development strategies that deliver results.

Our beginnings
Our Story
We are often asked why we chose the name V Formation for our business, so we took a trip down memory lane and came across an excellent explanation in our archives from 2007, back when V Formation was first launched. This still very much rings true today…
Lessons from nature and the power of the V formation.
We took our name from one of nature’s best lessons: the v formation flying pattern of birds.
A v formation increases the travel distance of birds by 70% compared to a solo flight. It teaches us to work efficiently as a team, and that we don’t have to do everything on our own.
As businesses we need to ensure we always know where we need to get to, and which race we are trying to win. A key part of that is ensuring that each team member is able and willing to perform to their maximum potential, with support from both colleagues and their leaders.
This ethos underpins how we work at V Formation and how we work to support our clients, many of whom have been with us since we – or they! – first took flight.
