When truck rental and contract hire company, Alltruck plc, needed strategic marketing support to develop their brand, V Formation took them on a journey…

Midlands-based Alltruck plc is a truck rental and contract hire business with a difference. It isn’t just about the great trucks that are brilliantly maintained, it’s about ‘Protecting Value’.

V Formation’s Sue Carr joined Alltruck plc as their Consultant Marketing Director, with a clear remit to work to develop their marketing strategy and oversee the implementation of the marketing plan.

An early project was to develop the brand and strengthen its visual representation and messaging. Working closely with our design partners, a website with a difference was created along with the new brand positioning: ‘Start your journey with Alltruck’.

Through this new positioning and messaging we were able to bring the customers’ and employees’ journeys to life through animation, testimonial videos, viral marketing and print.

The pink ball was born to represent the symbol of the ‘Journey’ – a concept that the Alltruck people and customers have embraced through the launch of the new values book and at the company’s annual awards dinner.

Sue mentors the marketing graduate and together they work closely with the sales team and other members of the business to ensure all marketing communications and activities are consistent and help differentiate Alltruck plc from its competition. The focus is on growth and new business generation whilst ensuring the strong employer brand attracts the very best people.

For Sue and Alltruck, the journey has only just begun.
