Reach Separations specialises in chromatography for the analysis and purification of small molecules. The company is about to enter its 9th year and felt it was time to refresh its look and launch a new website.
Reach Separations was originally founded in February 2012, with a team of four working in one small laboratory and office in the Innovation Building at BioCity in Nottingham.
Fast forward eight years, and the firm now occupies two large laboratories along with extra office space in the Stuart Adams building and employs eleven people.

“We had worked with the Reach Separations team in the early days, and have helped them with a couple of ad hoc projects over the years. We were delighted when they approached us with this project. We worked with our design partner, Fuse4, to come up with some creative concepts which the team at Reach Separations were really happy with. The result was simple, yet effective and a ‘throw-back’ to school days when we played with chromatography paper and dyes to watch the colours separate. We then went on to design and build a website that was clear and easy to navigate.
“The project ran very smoothly with us completing the website a week before the go-live date.”

Discovery scale chromatography remains a key focus for us, and we have also seen recent growth in impurity isolations, and large-scale chiral services – a trend that we expect to continue.
