The Olympic-inspired discussions around talent development have strongly echoed the findings from Derbyshire-based Awbery Management Centre’s most recent Talent Forum, which sparked an intelligent and energetic debate about how best to measure the return on investment from talent development initiatives. Key messages from the invited guests included the need for a long-term approach to talent development together with a focus not only on what employees CAN do but what they WILL do. Both themes clearly evident among our successful Olympics teams!
