Now in their sixth year, The Midlands Family Business Awards are not-for-profit and have raised over £20,000 for charities supporting young people and enterprise.
Speaking at the Baresca event, Charlotte Perkins, MD of The Wilson Organisation explained:
“As a charitable initiative, we are indebted to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, many of whom are returning for the fifth or even sixth year in 2015.
“Wilsons is a third generation family business, and we recognise just how important it is to showcase and celebrate the amazing successes and contribution of the Midlands’ family businesses, one of the main aims of the Awards. We would encourage family businesses to enter our Awards and gain the recognition they deserve.”
Hilary Campton, V Formation director and adviser to the Awards team, added:
“Entries for the 2015 Awards are now open and submissions can be made free of charge until 20 July. Family businesses can enter up to three categories and the entry process is quick, simple and totally free.”
