José González

José is our life sciences guest blogger.

José is an Ingenuity Learning Support Development Officer for the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Nottingham Business School. His academic background is in biotechnology, and he has industry experience regarding innovation management, business development and marketing.  José worked as part of the V Formation team during his graduate placement in 2016 and he is now our life sciences guest blogger.

José joined V Formation as part of a collaboration with Nottingham University’s MSc Applied Biopharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship programme. As well as supporting some of V Formation’s life sciences clients with their marketing strategy and business development initiatives, he also utilised his research skills and supported V with various marketing initiatives.

Following his placement with V Formation at the end of his MSc, José started a PhD in Business and Management where he has been researching how to better support Life Science SMEs and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in locations similar to Nottingham.  His research aims to support aspiring life science entrepreneurs, science park managers, and policymakers at nurturing welcoming environments for life sciences SMEs.
