For our 2021 Christmas charity, the V Formation team has voted to support Raise Your Hands.
In December 2020, like many businesses, we opted to make a donation to charity rather than dishing out corporate gifts. It felt like the right thing to do, when so many people were feeling the harsh impact of the pandemic. Our charity in 2020 was Fareshare, and we asked the team who they would like us to support for Christmas 2021.
Our senior marketing consultant Jemma proposed Raise Your Hands after reading about their work and approach.
Raise Your Hands supports exceptional small charities that aim to improve the lives of children and young people. Many small charities do amazing and impactful work, yet they struggle for funding and other areas of support.
What we love about Raise Your Hands is that they provide a holistic approach that covers not just fundraising but also awareness-raising, connecting with other charities, and pro-bono consultation and support. All of which is designed to help disadvantaged children in the UK to rise and fulfil their potential.
What’s even better is that all donations are currently being match-funded by a Raise Your Hands patron, meaning that our £1,000 donation has been doubled to £2,000.
